It was all over the news.  The Philippines was struck by the strongest typhoon, yolanda, recently.  Sadness, grief, loss shadowed each and everyone.  But i know better.  Filipinos will not be easily put down by challenges like this.  With the help extended by many countries, and the ongoing support of our fellow kababayans, in and out of the country, we can overcome this kind of situations.  We will rise again.

For us, girls working here in saudi arabia, we made an effort to at least help in any way we can.  Clothes definitely will be a big help for those who were affected by this calamity. These were just some of the things we received to be sent back home . Thanks everyone!

If there’s a silver lining in this horrible tragedy, it is seeing Filipinos all over the world and from all walks of life to reunite in building our country back. Not to forget the rest of the world in sending their help and assistance. In times like this, amidst all the wars and cruelty, this kindness shows us that there is hope for humanity.
