Birds of the same feather, flock together.

Yes we do! Call us bookworms, bibliophile, bookfanatics, avid readers, savant, booklovers, bookmaniacs, book-junkies.  However you describe us, it will all go down to one thing: WE LOVE TO READ.  And we all found a haven for us.  Its called READ PHILIPPINES.

Read Philippines is easy to access.  Once you go online, you can google it up and it will direct you to the exact and related links.  Just in case you want to go straight, just type

For first-timers you can opt to be just as a guest user or you can register to be a member.  Browse over articles on sales and informations, book releases, favorite books and authors, latest books they finished and currently reading.  But being a member gives you access to additional features such as posting a message, private messaging, e-mails to fellow users, and even avatar images.  once, i won a book for joining our monthly challenge.  so if i were you, id definitely register. it will only take you a few minutes, its as easy as 123.

And did i already mention we hold meet-ups? We had our first ever meet-up last July 13, 2013 at the Coffee Bean, Ortigas Park.  Actually, they had, the other members, since some of us are not manila based.  but regardless of our locations, we still can be a part of these events, right?! What’s the skype and webcams for? 🙂 According to one of our beautiful moderators, jem_chan, the purpose of this meet-up was to hang-out, get to know each other, discuss an agreed upon book, talk about the forum, lend/swap books with each other or all of the above.  Details of what happened during this time was actually posted and documented in our facebook page.  Like the page, if you must. 🙂

So, citizens of the net world, if you happen to be online, please do drop by our site and our FB page… and lets get to know each other better.  happy reading everyone, and if you’re not, start reading one!  😀
