the first time we entered the place, we were like, “wow! ang ganda! (so beautiful!)”. i noticed the black and white motif, the chandeliers, the table arrangements. immediately, i took some photos using my camera phone. of the wall, the lightings, the seats, the cutleries, the view, the whole place itself. i was so amazed with the ambience because it was relaxing and cozy at the same time, that i didn’t bother to look at the menu. i just ordered what they ordered. actually, the four of us ordered the same thing, TAPSILOG, a famous breakfast dish for the filipinos. oh! not just famous but a favorite one.
TAP=tapa (marinated beef), SI=sinangag (fried rice), and LOG=itlog (fried egg).
Isn’t that beautiful?! the presentation and the mixture of color made the dish more attractive and delicious to look at, a feast to the eye! well, as for the taste, it was good, but definitely, not the best tapa ive ever tasted. but hey, for only 25 saudi riyal, you get those plus a glass of orange juice and a cup of tea after meal. you get to bond with friends in cool place like this, here in jeddah, so its a good catch after all. 🙂
(jofer, me, henry and sheila, posing before eating… haha! i guess that is the trend nowadays!)
P.S. i was shocked when i was writing this, finding out that all pictures ive taken was somehow unreadable. my camera phone or the memory card, that, i will not know the cause of this unfortunate event. but still, it breaks my heart, knowing i cant show u guys what ive seen and encountered.. isnt that the purpose of this blog, to share with u guys what ive experienced?! hayyy… better luck next time! thanks, though, for this 2 extra shots taken from henry’s iphone5.. ure a lifesaver, oopppss, blogsaver i mean! 🙂
and because of this, i am so so so getting a new phone… soonest! ( i have a valid excuse now.. bwahahaha!) 😀 😀 😀
